Federal—Provincial—Territorial Resources

  • Persons with Disabilities (PWD) Benefit

    • Financial assistance for individuals with disabilities to help with living costs.

    At Home Program

    • Assists families with some of the extraordinary costs of caring for a child with severe disabilities at home.

  • Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH)

    • Provides financial and health-related assistance to adults with a permanent disability that severely impairs their ability to earn a livelihood.

    Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD)

    • Offers a range of supports and services to families to help them with some of the extraordinary demands of raising a child with disabilities.

  • Saskatchewan Assured Income for Disability (SAID)

    • Provides income support for people with significant and enduring disabilities.

    Family Respite Program

    • Offers respite funding to families caring for a child with intellectual disabilities.

  • Children's disABILITY Services

    • Supports families who are raising a child (or children) with developmental and physical disabilities.

    Employment and Income Assistance (EIA) – Disability Benefits

    • Provides financial help to Manitobans who have a disability that affects their ability to earn a living.

  • Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP)

    • Provides income and employment supports to eligible individuals with disabilities.

    Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities (ACSD)

    • Offers financial support to parents to help with some of the extra costs of caring for a child who has a severe disability.

    Special Services at Home (SSAH)

    • Helps families who are caring for a child with a developmental or physical disability to get respite and personal development services.

  • Supplement for Handicapped Children

    • Financial assistance for families to help with the care of a child with a disability.

    Financial Assistance Program for Domestic Help Services

    • Offers financial support to individuals with disabilities to obtain domestic help services.

  • Disability Support Program (DSP)

    • Offers personalized support to individuals with disabilities to help them participate in their communities.

  • Disability Support Program

    • Provides support to individuals with disabilities to help them achieve their goals and participate in their communities.
