2023 Walks raise over $143,500 for Canadian AS Families!

We are stronger together!

With 7 walk locations across Canada, this past spring saw our best ever walk effort with more participants and more fundraised dollars for Canadian families! A huge thank you to our walk coordinators who worked tirelessly to bring you amazing events. We look forward to seeing you next year on Saturday May 25th, 2024!

Narrative Supports

Narrative Supports is an Angelman community webinar created through a joint collaboration of the Angelman Syndrome Foundation, Angelman Syndrome Foundation Canada and Angelman Academy. This session focuses on using narrative supports, such as Social Stories™ to encourage, support and celebrate individuals with Angelman syndrome. The session (linked below) will share the philosophy and practice of such supports with examples. Finally, participants will be lead through creating their own narrative support. ASF Scientific Symposium

The ASF Research Symposium brings together an outstanding community of researchers and clinicians to share unpublished work, participate in conceptual discussions and reflect on the big picture as it relates to Angelman syndrome and pathways toward effective treatments. The event is held in collaboration with Dup15q and this year it’s in Nashville, TN on July 25-26th. There is a virtual option that is $70 USD for the 2 symposium days. ASF Canada Launch event - Oct 21, 2023
